Long Don Silver Follando

Luncheon on the Grass - Edouard Manet

Well this is the last landscape because Bart passes. This scene belongs to the work "Luncheon on the Grass" , which is also known as "Luncheon on the Grass" , painter Edouard Manet .

The story of this painting is very interesting, because it was a picture very revolutionary for its time, considered tasteless and vulgar, because he represented a prostitute holding the viewer look (the term prostitute may seem offensive, but if they see the documentary that I put below, will understand why this adjective ) also clear that this was not like the bare naked beautiful and delicate to be stylish.

Although it was a shocking picture it is clear that the original idea did not originate from the same Edouard Manet (which incidentally was the teacher of Monet ), you may Manet used the composition Marco Antonio Raimondi an engraving of "Judgement of Paris" on a box Rafael was lost.

I found a very interesting documentary, belongs to a program called "The Private Life of Masterpieces" 2002, which devotes an episode to detail the life of this painting and its author, has a duration of 49 minutes and is subtitled in English. If you download it, click here.

This condition has been subject to multiple references, by artists like Picasso and current artists but also, and in comics, covers of albums, and even in advertisements:
  • Picasso made twenty-seven oil paintings, one hundred and forty drawings, three linocuts and a dozen models in cardboard sculptures, over a period of 3 years; tired at end, they retaliated by painting it as a violation.

  • Comics:
home Army @ Love nr 03, by Rick Veitch and Gary Erskine .

..

home the "Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers" Gilbert of Shelda n in the adventure: "A year passes like nothing."

Milo Manara, the Italian artist author "Giuseppe Bergman", "Clicks" and "Perfumes of the invisible" , etc.

  • Covers Music Albums:
The British band " Bow Wow Wow " created by " Malcolm McLaren " pulled a album called "See Jungle! See Jungle! Go Join Your Gang, Yeah. City All Over! Go Ape Crazy" in October 1981. The cover was censored because the model was only 14 years when it did.

  • Mr. Oizo (pronounced Mister Wah -Zoh ) is the pseudonym of French music producer Quentin Dupieux . Cover of their EP Pourriture 2009.

...............

This box also served as inspiration for new artists: painters, photographers and illustrators.

.........

  • this box also served as the theme for the preparation of editorials for fashion magazines: Editorial DIVA magazine.

............

  • YSL advertising campaign, starring by Kate Moss, the photographed by Mario Sorrenti.

What I found most of this picture is that it served to make a movie for adults called Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe (2006) conducted by Ondrej Brody and Kristofer Peatau and you can download the making of 3 minutes here.

Here the sequence of the series The Simpsons.

The Dream - Henri Rousseau

The third landscape is Dream of Henri Rousseau (who have spoken in Sleeping Gypsy ).

Rousseau was like Van Gogh and Monet, an artist marginalized at the time. So much so that during the exhibition which was presented " Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" of Georges Seurat and "One night Carnival " of Rousseau, the second was the subject of laughter and ridicule by their seemingly clumsy and childish style, thanks to the intervention of Toulouse-Lautrec Rousseau could avoid being excluded.

About "The Dream", the same Rousseau explains: " The woman who sleeps on the couch dreams of being transported to the jungle at the sound the instrument that plays the snake charmer ". I can not stop thinking about when Bart goes to France also dreams of living in a beautiful mansion (as you stated the brochure of trade).

The woman reportedly has the features of a lover Polish painter had in his youth.

is curious that one of the recurring themes in the work of Customs, is the jungle foliage, where it is known that Rousseau never visited the jungle, and that while painting landscapes dizzy and had to open the windows to pass your vertigo.

also confuse the species of plants, banana trees painting of his invention. He even used 50 types of green to represent their jungles.

Venus de Milo

Last Exit to Springfield or Last Exit to Springfield (episode of season four) shows a sculptural reference in the first scene, no less than The Venus de Milo.

Venus , appears on a table at the reception, which presents the " T rastornil: 10 times more effective than any stimulant "scene is actually a movie that Homer and Bart are watching on TV.

Speaking ya work can only say that little is actually known about it, but An inscription on the pedestal indicates that the author could be Alexander of Antioch. Venus de Milo is called because it was found in Milo.

Several theories that because Venus has no arms, which I like, says the sculptor believed that Venus was able to love any man with one index finger pointing.

But the idea is generally accepted that the farmer who found the sculpture willing to take it, dug it up with such force that broke off arms .

why I find it very ingenious Mc. Bain is hidden inside the sculpture, and when she leaves, the first thing that breaks are the arms.

Crows Wheat Field - Vincent Van Gogh

The second landscape that runs Bart is "Wheat Field with Crows the painter Vincent Van Goh, (which we had seen one of his famous Autorretratos ).

This table is also known by the name of Cornfield with Crows, and many consider him the last work of Van Gogh, made shortly before he committed suicide. As the subject of much analysis and studies on its true meaning:

- Heaven : black and blue colors represent his torment, his mental problems (he was interned in a psychiatric hospital), its fracazos (antisocial, unable to raise a family, economically dependent on her brother, even as he was wrong evangelist, etc)

- Roads: Some have suggested that the painting is a reflection of the uncertainty of Vincent on the course that will take your life. According to this view the three paths represent the past, present and future of the artist's life.

- The Ravens: They were interpreted as its fear to failure . I found two English-language website, which decode this work: VVgallery and multimedia special on the day Van Gogh La Vanguardia.

El Campo.
Auvers-sur-Oise locality to which he moved after leaving the psychiatric, is described well by the artist '[...] indeed, it is extraordinarily beautiful, it is the field itself, characteristic and picturesque' , golf is were a recurring motif in his works:

"They are vast fields of wheat under troubled skies, and I need not get out of my way to try to express sadness and extreme loneliness ..." Vincent to Theo

Van Gogh is a very interesting character, even from the time of his birth occurred March 30, 1853, the same day his brother, who bore the same name he was born and died a year earlier.

was a marginal artist who only managed to sell a painting for his life, although done about 750 paintings and drawings around 1600, going through different stages of creation. Tube a very close relationship to his brother Theo, he wrote more than 700 letters.

Several movies were made based on the life of this artist, among them are:

For more information on Van Gogh and Film , I recommend an article Moisés Bazán de Huerta , you can read or download here.

Being a tormented soul, Van Gogh decided to end his life by suicide, the July 27 shooting in the countryside. agony for two days, while continuing to smoke. He died on July 29, 1890, at 1:30 am. At his funeral all attendees brought yellow flowers.
